The joint initiative Diversity in Wines and Spirits and Wonder Woman of Wine offers a powerful platform to attract the attention of exhibitors and educational partners who are committed to diversity, equality and inclusion.
San Francisco, California. 1. December 2020 – Be the Change Job Fair, a joint initiative of Diversity in Wine & Spirits, Wonder Women of Wine and other industry leaders, announced today that exhibitors and education partners in the wine industry are committed to diversity and inclusion at their first virtual job fair. Be The Change tries to find real and tangible solutions to the problem of creating diversity and inclusion in the wine industry, in order to facilitate the creation of links between employers and job seekers in this period of high unemployment. The aim of this initiative is to propose legislation to bring about social change by 2021.

As one of the first proud supporters of this exciting initiative, we’re working together for positive change and a more inclusive wine industry, says Rick Tigner, CEO of Jackson Family Wines. We’re thankful to be the change center for creating a platform and space where companies like Jackson Family Wines, who are committed to change, can reach new employees and candidates.
The virtual job fair takes place on the 2nd and 3rd. December in collaboration with the technology leaders of the industry Brazen and Force Brands. At the beginning of the job fair, on 2. In December, a round table will be organised with leading figures from the wine sector to discuss the study, implementation and adoption of true diversity and integration for all. This four-hour virtual recruitment event is closely monitored by employers involved in DEI and offers space for 1,000 candidates and many jobs in the wine industry. Candidates can upload their CVs, talk to employers and communicate with other professionals in the sector, and exhibitors can receive candidates’ CVs and post vacancies.
