The Craft Brewers Conference® & Brew Expo America®(CBC), presented by the Brewers Association, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. September 2021 to return to Denver. The premier conference and trade show for the craft brewing industry was originally scheduled for the 29th. March to 1. Scheduled for April 2021 in San Diego, but postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
The September date in Denver gives us the opportunity to come together in person and give us the chance to do what brewers do best by building community, sharing our expertise and passion and learning from each other, said Bob Pease, President and CEO of the Brewers Association.
Final confirmation of the face-to-face event will be subject to health and safety protocols at the time of the conference. If a face-to-face event is not possible due to COWID-19 issues, the conference will be posted online. Registration for participants and media is expected to begin in April 2021.
This past year was a tumultuous one for the craft brewing community as we faced a number of challenges. But we are resilient, Pease said. We know that in order to have a healthy and sustainable craft beer, we have to start with the CBC and the care and training of our professionals. We hope to see everyone in Denver this fall.
The conference will showcase the latest technical resources in brewing, as well as training and business development opportunities for craft beer professionals. The eight continuing education workshops are designed to help brewers stay relevant and competitive in a changing business environment. BrewExpo America, the largest trade show of its kind in North America, is a one-stop shop for brewers looking to invest in their business and make key contacts with suppliers.
The 2019 Craft BrewExpo America conference brought $37.9 million in direct spending to Denver and attracted nearly 15,000 brewing industry professionals.
In addition to the CBC’s relocation, the traditional Denver Great American Beer Festival® (GABF) and awards ceremony will also be changed and the awards will be presented at the 10th Annual CBC.
