Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon Review

The Cabernet Sauvignon bait comes from the Duckhorn wines of Hopland, California, USA.

According to the production of this wine, the variety composition is as follows: 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 4% Zinfandel, 2% Petit Sirach and 1% Petit Verdo.

In addition, Cabernet Sauvignon bait is made of 100% French oak.

While tasting and observing, the wine looked very much like a simple Cabernet, but the smooth blend made its effect.

Cabernet Sauvignon bait Wine assessment

Out of the bottle:

Founded more than 30 years ago by the legendary winemakers Dan and Margaret Duckhorn, our roots are deep.  From the wine to the bottle, we produce our wines to the strictest standards, using only grapes from exceptional vineyards.  Including our own property.

And also from production records:

The 2018 growing season started with a cool winter and the rain was only enough to replenish the vineyards. The moderate spring and mild summer weather allowed the grapes to ripen very moderately.

I tried vintage Cabernet Sauvignon in 2018.

In the glass this wine was quite dark, with a pomegranate meniscus.

A little light has escaped.

The legs were thick and usually fell off quickly, with a few more to climb.

The smell of light and medium intensity was quite simple and typical of Cabernet, although I had some initial indications of the earth and skin.

We snorted several times and found thin red fruits, maybe gooseberries.

Alcohol only gave you the slightest hint.

The bait content of Cabernet Sauvignon is 13.9% by volume, per bottle.

In the beginning I felt a hint of raspberry in my palate, which turned into a small cake.

Like the aroma, the taste of the wine was simple and very close to that of the Cabernet.

The taste of the wine is certainly faded with time and air, making fine black fruit visible.

I have to say I don’t agree with the statement that I feel fresh mint nuts.

I tried fresh mint and I let it grow in my garden… It wasn’t that kind of taste.

Let me make it clear… Not too complicated, but the taste of this wine was certainly pleasant!

Sneeze and tanning in the mouth

Although not too dry, Cabernet Decoy is a dry red wine with striking but well controlled tannins.

It’s funny, I’ve tried so many red blends lately, and their finishing seems to take hours.

Returning to an elegant, slightly mixed Cabernet like this one, I almost regarded it as a wine with a short aftertaste.

But in the realm of Cabernet Sauvignon there are many long finishes with a pleasant mix of flavors and tannins.

General view of Cabernet Sauvignon bait

All in all, I really liked this beautiful Cabernet.

It is elegant, well thought out and really reflects what a twenty dollar cabin should look like.

And if you want to make the most of it, give it time to breathe.

Everything soothes and the black fruits, which everyone loves nowadays, become known.

Cabernet Sauvignon is $19.99 bait and I bought it at a liquor store.

Suggested nutrient steam

This wine would be a clear addition to a good fillet mignon.

Go ahead, help yourself.
