With an increase in the capacity of the internal water reservoirs and a new feeding program at the central Bishop Ranch in the city

Berkeley, California. – Tuesday the 23rd. February 2021. – The Berkeley, California-based brewery is expanding its San Ramon location with an additional 900-square-foot taproom in Bishops Ranch in the Tri-Valley area, which serves major East Bay cities such as San Ramon, Danville, Alamo and Dublin/Pleasanton. The Town of Bishop Ranch Centre’s sanitary facilities and beer garden will consist of a 3,300 square foot indoor sanitary facility and a 2,700 square foot outdoor beer garden. The downtown brewery’s outdoor service will remain open until it opens in the spring of 2021.

We are excited to add an additional 40 seats and a kitchen to our indoor space in Bishop Ranch downtown, allowing us to offer our guests quality dishes from our new menu, developed by our Culinary Director Jeffrey Amber. Downtown will be the last Fieldwork location to offer our full menu, and we are excited to offer a gourmet menu alongside our freshly brewed and locally sourced beers, says Barry Braden, co-founder and owner of Fieldwork Brewery.

Fieldwork has quickly become a popular meeting place and leisure activity. Everyone knows how good their beer is, and we’re thrilled that this expansion will allow them to showcase their menu in the downtown area, which is just as fantastic, says Alexander Mehran, Jr. President and CEO of Sunset Development, owner and operator of Bishop Ranch downtown.

Chef Jeffrey Amber (on-site Culinary Director at the brewery), winner of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Rising Star Award, leads the brewery’s culinary program after pioneering roles as Executive Chef at Bi-Rite, Culinary Director at MIXT, Executive Chef at Chow and other restaurants. For Bishop Ranch’s downtown field office menu and Beer Garden, Amber uses exceptional organic ingredients from Bay Area farmers to serve seasonal dishes and support the local sustainable agricultural ecosystem.

The centerpiece of Fieldwork’s menu is a Neapolitan-style pizza made with organic flour from Central Milling (Logan, Utah) and fresh, peeled organic tomatoes from Rob DiNapoli (Los Gatos, California). Spring vegetables and artisan meats make up the opening menu of 10 pizzas. Snacks include many healthy options and a children’s menu is also available.
