Drink like a king at unbeatable prices thanks to our huge 60% saving on these elegant, premium white wines from King Estate in the Willamette Valley.

INSIDER DEAL! King Estate Mixed Whites

While pinot noir dominates the shelves of most Oregon stores, today’s 1-Day Insider Deal gives you the chance to try a trio of highly rated (and Bulk Buy) Willamette Valley whites and save a total of $110!

Today’s offer includes two different wines from what many consider the best-kept secret of Oregon: Willamette Valley Pinot Gris and the amazing Sauvignon Blanc. And because one bottle is never enough, you get two bottles of each wine.

This means that you get two bottles of King Estate Pfeiffer Wijngaard 2015 Pinot Gris with 91 points, two bottles of King Estate Unity 2015 Pinot Gris and two bottles of King Estate Croft Wijngaard 2015 Sauvignon Blanc with 90 points.

A total of 6 bottles for only $64.99, or $10.83 per bottle. That’s a saving of 58% on wine, and 61% (or $110) when you consider the additional savings of our low $5 shipping costs.

We have to emphasize that these are all old wines and not wines to record. Although they are now drinking great, they are starting to show their age a little, especially in colour. If you’re ready to drink them all quickly, this is a great opportunity to taste premium white wines for a fraction of the price.

This 6-pack is available for shipment to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WV and WI. (These states require individual licenses for proposed wineries. More or fewer states may be available in the future).

This is a direct, time-limited offer, negotiated by our friends from Wine Country Connect. The sale closes at noon (PST) on Tuesday 12 January, unless sold earlier. Shipping costs are $5 per order, regardless of the number of 6-packs you buy.

When you click on the Buy button above, you will be redirected to winedealmaker.com to place your order. If you don’t see a built-in shop window, click here to order. You can also adjust the number of 6-packs in your order by clicking on the Update Cart link at the top of the screen.

The first is the Pinot Gris 2015 of the royal Pfeiffer vineyard in the Willamette Valley. This vintage got a score of 91 on .

Get out of the bottle:

Pfeiffer Vineyards and King Estate have had a wine partnership since 1992. For a quarter of a century, Pfeiffer has not sold its grapes to any other vineyard. In a unique microclimate in the hills of the Oregon coast, this vineyard produces wines with a crisp, pure texture and a fruity, avant-garde character that are delicious.

Produced and bottled on King Estate 13.5% alcohol

The Pinot Gris 2015 from the Pfeiffer King Estate vineyard opens with a truly stunning aroma of green apple, lime and a little floral note.

When tasting, the wine shows a lot of acidity and cake fruit, as on the nose, with the addition of tropical fruit to the palate. It also has a nice smooth and structured mouthfeel. With a very good balance and a great depth of flavor, it goes down quite easily.

It ends with a dry, sharp, caramel-like finish. As long as she’s alive, I probably wouldn’t keep her, given her age.

Get out of the bottle:

The King family and the Pfeiffer family have been through a lot together. We’ve been growing grapes and making wine together for over 20 years. Much has changed in this period, many problems have been solved and we have learned to produce better and more elegant wines that show how much things have changed. Maybe you know such families – and sometimes you sit around the table with them to share a meal and some wine – and raise your glasses to the shared work and friendship between the families. Our partnership is our unity.

Produced and bottled on King Estate 13.5% alcohol

As one would expect, King Estate’s Pinot Gris 2015 is generally very similar to the Pfeiffer vineyard, which offers 50% of its fruit.

The wine starts with pleasant aromas of green apple and lime and some tropical fruits and honeysuckle.

The wine has a similar taste to Pfeiffer and perhaps a lighter mouthfeel. The finish is also similar, with a hint of minerality. Oh, that’s great.

And finally, something you don’t see every day: Willamette Valley Sauvignon Blanc.

The Sauvignon Blanc 2015 of King Manor’s Croft Vineyard is also a good example of this diversity. This wine comes from a single vineyard, normally reserved for wine club members, and received 90 points. 25% of the wine has been aged in French oak for five months.

Get out of the bottle:

Croft Vineyard is one of the most sought after Sauvignon Blanc sites in Oregon. This beautiful wine has clear nectarine and melon aromas and a lively acidity, a desirable feature of the most remarkable Sauvignon Blanc fruit in the Willamette Valley.

Produced and bottled on King Estate 13.5% alcohol

King Manor’s Sauvignon Blanc 2015 begins with intriguing aromas of melon, lime and some tropical fruit, and a hint of lemongrass. All right!

A single sip reveals that the wine is still lively, crisp and refreshing, with many delicious flavors of lime, mandarin, pear, melon, some gooseberry and more. It also has a very nice texture in the mouth thanks to its barrel maturation, it is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc.

It ends with a dry, caramelised, very, very long finish, with a juicy lime flavour that lingers on the lips. We really liked it and it was a great way to taste Oregon Sauvignon Blanc.
