His son-in-law, Mark Sachs, will take his place on the board on 1 January 2021.
I’m proud of everything we’ve achieved at the RNDC, says Driben. We have become a national energy company and remain committed to our suppliers, customers and partners. During this time we have maintained a family atmosphere and continue to grow as a national distributor of choice.

He returns to San Antonio where he takes responsibility for Block’s wine program and directs its growth. Dreeben is responsible for the certification of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) in the United States.

Alan’s contributions to the industry are unparalleled, says Tom Cole, President and CEO. I have known him and his wife Barbara all my career and he has had a great influence on me from the beginning. I wish him good luck with his retirement and thank him for his help in putting the NDCN on a path of accelerated growth. Alan will be missed in this role and we are happy to welcome Mark to the Board of Directors.
