The new CEO, Tyson Overton, said: During his time at Wente Family Estates, Dave has demonstrated strong leadership skills and has been instrumental in the delivery of several key strategic initiatives. We look forward to him leading the team in expanding our national and international presence.

Chris McAllister succeeds David as senior vice president of national accounts, responsible for the onsite and offsite national accounts business. Most recently, he was Vice President of National Accounts and focused on expanding Wente Family Estates’ brand portfolio in the off-premise channel with some of the largest clients in the United States. McAllister joined Wente Family Estates in 2017 after working as a national representative for Schmitt Sons. Chris’ previous industry experience includes sales and category management for Glazer and E. & J. Gallo Winery. David Enderle, Sales Manager, explains: Chris’s relationships with industry at all levels and his ability to create and lead innovative, data-driven solutions make him an exceptional leader and he will serve Wente Family Estates well with him as a leader.

In the marketing organization, Ali Wente has been named vice president of marketing and customer service. In this expanded role, she will continue to oversee the overall marketing strategy of the portfolio and add hospitality to her area of expertise.  Hospitality includes Vente Vineyards tasting room, Murrieta tasting room, Vente Vineyards grill, events and experiences. She reports directly to CEO Tyson Overton and will be a key member of the executive team. Ali has been instrumental in supporting the growth and success of the wholesale, DTC, and customer service operations while leading the marketing organization. We believe that aligning marketing and hospitality will strengthen the connection with consumers across all brand touch points, says Overton. Ali joined Wente Family Estate in 2019 as senior brand manager after holding senior brand marketing positions at Constellation Brands. Most recently, she served as Director of Marketing since July 2020.
